The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester woman following a crash in Naples.
Deputies say 28-year-old Heather Micglire was arrested Monday night after she drove a vehicle she did not own into a driveway on Old French Hill Road while intoxicated.
Micglire was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, falsely reporting an incident, criminal mischief, driving while intoxicated, and unlicensed operation. Investigators say she attempted to give false information to both the homeowner and deputies about what had happened.
She was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
