A Rochester woman is facing charges after allegedly shoplifting from the Macy’s store at Eastview Mall on Sunday.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the store around 2:45 p.m. for a report of a shoplifter. Their investigation determined that Alexis Rosby had concealed $115.70 worth of merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying.
Rosby was charged with petit larceny and released with an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
