Rochester woman has a date to appear in Victor Town Court following an investigation into a shoplifting incident at Von Maur at the Eastview Mall.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies discovered Marivelisse Martinez had concealed merchandise, valued at $600.00, inside of a bag and passed all points of sale with no attempt at rendering payment for the items in her possession. Additionally, during the investigation, Martinez is accused of providing a false name to police. Martinez was charged with petit larceny and false personation.
It was also discovered Martinez had an active bench warrant out of Victor Town Court for failing to appear in court on several dates for a prior petit larceny arrest in September of 2022.
Martinez was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
