A Rochester man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop on Sunday in Ontario County.
Kenneth Alston was stopped on State Route 332 in Farmington for allegedly driving on a suspended New York State Driver’s License. During the roadside investigation, the 59-year-old was allegedly found to have cocaine.
Alston was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He will appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
