The investigation into a sick or intoxicated driver at the Taco Bell on State Route 332 in Farmington resulted in the arrest of a Rochester man.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies located Timothy Simmons driving north on State Route 332 following the complaint. Deputies initiated a traffic stop and upon investigation found Simmons to be driving his car in an alleged intoxicated condition. Simmons was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ontario County Jail where he consented to a chemical analysis of his breath. Upon conclusion, Simmons was charged with DWI, DWI per se .08% or greater, and consumption/alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Simmons will appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
