The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester man following a traffic stop in the Town of Junius early Wednesday morning.
Deputies say 36-year-old Rahmaan Muhammad was pulled over around 3:30 a.m. on State Route 318. During the stop, investigators allegedly found him in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Muhammad was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket for Junius Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
