A Rochester man was arrested at the Monroe County Jail by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant issued out of Victor Town Court.
The warrant for Deisjar Brown’s arrest stems from his failure to appear for a scheduled court appearance to answer a petit larceny charge. The 33-year-old is accused of stealing $74.99 in property from Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Eastview Mall in Victor last September 1st.
Brown was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
