A Rochester man is facing a long list of charges after being arrested on three separate bench warrants in Ontario County.
37-year-old James Baker was arrested on outstanding warrants from the Hopewell, Phelps, and Canandaigua Town Courts. The charges include:
- Hopewell Town Court: Aggravated unlicensed operation in the 2nd degree and speeding
- Phelps Town Court: DWI (first offense), DWAI drugs, lane violation, aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd and 2nd degrees, and 4th-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- Canandaigua Town Court: 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
Baker is expected to return to each respective court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
