A Rochester man is facing multiple felony charges after deputies arrested him Tuesday afternoon in Victor.
Sheriff’s deputies say 36-year-old Adam Schaible was taken into custody just after noon on Interstate 490 on an arrest warrant issued by East Bloomfield Town Court. The warrant stems from an incident in June where Schaible is accused of unlawfully entering an East Bloomfield apartment, damaging property, and stealing both a vehicle and a debit card belonging to the victim.
He is charged with burglary, two counts of grand larceny — including one for a stolen vehicle — along with petit larceny, criminal mischief, and criminal trespass.
Schaible was taken to the Ontario County Jail, where he awaits arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
