A Rochester man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on an active warrant tied to a domestic dispute earlier this year in the Town of Farmington.
Police say 26-year-old Jahmir Keiston Dwyane Powell was taken into custody at his residence on a warrant issued by Farmington Town Court. Powell faces charges of criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and petit larceny, all Class A misdemeanors.
The charges stem from a reported domestic incident involving a female victim on May 30 in Farmington.
Powell was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
