A Rochester man is in the Seneca County Correctional Facility after being arrested over the weekend on a warrant.
Justin Lang was allegedly involved in a prior domestic incident on October 20th of last year in the town of Seneca Falls. It is alleged that on that date, Lang was sending threatening text messages to the victim, which caused the victim fear. Due to the prior domestic incident, a warrant for Lang’s arrest was issued. Lang was located on a traffic stop by New York State Police on Saturday night. Troopers informed the Seneca Falls Police Department they had Lang located.
Lang was then taken into custody by the Seneca Falls Police Department and charged with six counts of aggravated harassment as well as a single count of obscenity.
An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
