A Rochester man is facing multiple theft charges after authorities say he stole hundreds of dollars in merchandise from an Ulta Beauty store in the Town of Victor.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 40-year-old Dennis Jemison Saturday on a bench warrant issued by Victor Town Court for failing to appear. Investigators also charged him with fourth-degree grand larceny for a reported theft on March 9, in which he allegedly stole $1,148 worth of merchandise.
Authorities later charged Jemison with petit larceny for a separate incident on March 15, where he allegedly took $577 in perfume products from the same store.
Jemison is being held at the Ontario County Jail on bail and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
