On Sunday, Tony Maynor was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop near the intersection of State Route 5 and Pultney Street in the City of Geneva.
Ontario County Deputies conducted an investigation during the 3:21 a.m. stop and determined that Maynor was allegedly intoxicated during a series of standardized field sobriety tests. He was subsequently taken into custody and issued Uniform Traffic Tickets for driving while intoxicated, leaving his lane unsafely, failure to use a turn signal, moving left of pavement markings, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle.
Maynor was released and is scheduled to appear in the City of Geneva Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
