A Rochester man was arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office at Von Maur in the town of Victor.
Miles Lawson is accused of passing all points of sale without rendering payment for $405 worth of merchandise. While being placed under arrest, Lawson is accused of physically resisting.
In addition to petit larceny, Lawson was charged with resisting arrest and was released on appearance tickets for Victor Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
