A Rochester man is facing charges after a domestic incident in Cayuga County.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded Saturday to State Route 370 near Route 38 in the Town of Victory for an incident happening along the roadway. Deputies were originally unable to locate the vehicle or the individuals but ultimately found them at the Dollar General in Cato.
An investigation determined that Ronald Williams was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by a woman with whom he was in a relationship. The two got into an argument leading to the woman stopping the car and getting out. Williams is then accused of chasing the woman along the side of the road, culminating in a physical altercation.
Williams, who was recently released from prison on parole, was arrested and charged with Menacing. Williams was arraigned and released to appear in Victory Town Court at a later date.
