Rochester Man Accused of Stealing a Car in Wayne County

A Rochester man is in Wayne County Jail on robbery and grand larceny charges.

Luis Nogueras-Colon is accused of forcibly stealing a car from a woman during a physical altercation at a residence on Washington Street in the village of Palmyra. The stolen car was located a short time later in Pittsford by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Nogueras-Colon was taken into custody after a brief search on foot.

Nogueras-Colon was brought to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and was being held at the Wayne County Jail for CAPS arraignment.
