Probation Violation Leads to Arrest in Ontario County

Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man Friday outside the Probation Department on an active warrant.

Deputies say 55-year-old Luis Denobrega, of Canandaigua, was taken into custody on a Violation of Probation warrant issued earlier that day by Hopewell Town Court.

Denobrega was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in CAP Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
