A Prattsburgh man was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs following a road side investigation in Yates County.
Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies observed a car parked roadside causing a hazard on County House Road on May 5th. They reported to have made contact with the driver, Nathaniel Garber, who allegedly displayed several signs of drug impairment. The 22-year-old Garber was placed through standardized field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
Garber was issued tickets and will appear in Jerusalem Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
