A Prattsburgh man has been arrested following a two-year child exploitation investigation that began with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
New York State Police say 23-year-old Kyle Marshall was taken into custody on July 18th and charged with 43 counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, and 43 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
The charges stem from a July 2023 search warrant executed at a home on County Route 77 in the Town of Pulteney. Investigators seized multiple electronic devices, which were later analyzed by the Troop E Computer Crimes Unit.
Marshall was processed at the State Police barracks in Bath and taken to the Steuben County Jail.
The case remains under investigation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
