A Prattsburgh man is charged with a handful of crimes, including two felonies, after he allegedly fought with Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputies during a domestic violence altercation.
Charles Graner the Fourth is accused of striking and pushing another person, causing injury to the victim. He is also accused of stealing the victim’s phone and damaging it after they called 911. During the investigation, Graner allegedly threatened and physically fought with deputies, resisted arrest, and attempted to prevent deputies from doing their jobs.
Graner was charged with making a terroristic threat and robbery, both felonies, along with assault, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration. Following his arraignment, the 37-year-old was released to appear in court on a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
