Seneca County deputies arrested a Port Byron man after a traffic stop in the Town of Waterloo.
35-year-old Timothy Smart was observed speeding on State Route 96 in a 40-mile-per-hour zone on October 4th. During the stop, deputies conducted a DWI investigation, and Smart was taken into custody.
Smart refused chemical testing and was processed at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center. He was held for Central Arraignment Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
