According to investigators, Amber Meadows of Farmington received just over $11,000 in SNAP benefits between December 2020 and February of this year that she was not entitled to after failing to report she had earned $108,058 from her employment with Instacart from January 2020 to this past February. Meadows is also accused of providing DSS with six false instruments dating back to December 2020 through December 2022 which allowed her to receive these benefits. The 32-year-old has been charged with grand larceny and a half-dozen counts of offering a false instrument for filing. Following her arraignment, Meadows was released to appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
