Two people were arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office after allegedly being found in possession of a car that was reported to have been stolen.
45-year-old Edward Hector, from Rome, and 38-year-old Nancy Dole, of Blossvale, were allegedly found in a rental car that was reported to have been stolen after not being returned to the rental company the month prior.
Hector and Dole were each charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and issued appearance tickets for Tyre Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
