A malfunctioning taillight resulted in a Penn Yan man being charged for driving with a suspended license.
Allen Derr was seen by Penn Yan Police driving on Liberty Street with his passenger side taillight out. A traffic stop was initiated and a check of his license revealed it was suspended.
Derr was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and insufficient tail lamps. Derr will appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
