A fraud investigation conducted by Seneca Falls Police resulted in the arrest Wednesday of a Seneca Falls man.
On Sunday, Robert Flavin had allegedly called in a complaint involving an electronic benefits card. He had disclosed to officers that he had given his card to another person for the purpose of buying drugs. The 47-year-old was charged with criminal use of a benefit card and conspiracy.
Flavin was released on an appearance ticket for Seneca Falls Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
