A Seneca Falls man was arrested on New Year’s Eve following an investigation into a domestic dispute.
According to Seneca Falls Police, the incident began as a verbal altercation and escalated when 29-year-old Colton Price allegedly trashed the residence, damaging household items and breaking a window at the victim’s home. Fearing for her safety, the victim fled her house and called 911. Police say Price’s actions left the home in disarray, with broken items strewn throughout the residence, causing significant disruption and emotional distress for the victim.
Following the investigation, police charged Price with felony criminal mischief along with misdemeanor charges of harassment, criminal mischief and tampering.
Price was brought to the Seneca County Jail to await arraignment.
An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
