A Wayne County man has been arrested early Monday morning for allegedly being in possession of a stolen car.
21-year-old Derek Thompson, of Red Creek, also had pending charges following an incident that occurred Sunday where he allegedly entered another person’s home and struck a person in the head with a closed fist. Thompson was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, criminal trespass, harassment, and multiple traffic violations.
Thompson was taken to Wayne County Jail for processing before being released on tickets.
