An incident between inmates at the Ontario County Jail may have been racially motivated.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies accuse Nathaniel Waffner of threatening another inmate with physical harm and did so based upon perception or belief about the inmate’s race when he used a racial epithet.
The 40-year-old Canandaigua man was charged with aggravated harassment and was sent back to jail following his arraignment.
