An altercation at a Liberty Street residence in the village of Penn Yan led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Penn Yan woman.
During an argument on Wednesday, Abby Whitney is accused of displaying a knife to another person and threatening physical harm.
Whitney was charged with menacing and released on an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
