An alleged violation of the village ordinance when it comes to dogs and their feces has resulted in a court date in Penn Yan Village Court for a Penn Yan resident.
33-year-old Spencer Davis was ticketed by village police after he allegedly allowed his dog to defecate on a Main Street sidewalk in the business district while walking it. It is alleged Davis then neglected to pick up and remove the feces from the sidewalk, which is an alleged violation.
Davis will appear in court at a later date.
