A local man has been arrested on a criminal contempt charge.
Police say 37-year-old Justin Helmick was taken into custody on Friday, July 25, 2025, and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
