A Montezuma woman was arrested for allegedly driving a car with a blood alcohol content more than four times the legal limit.
Cayuga County Sheriff’s Deputies spotted the tan car Kimberly Tanner was driving traveling north on High Street in Montezuma when the car moved far off the side of the road and with its passenger side mirror struck a dumpster that was in the front yard of a home and continued on. She was eventually pulled over and taken into custody. Deputies say Tanner’s blood alcohol content was .37 percent at the time of her arrest.
Tanner was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, along with other traffic and vehicle violations.
Tanner was released on an appearance ticket for Montezuma Town Court.
