Pittsford Woman Charged in Victor Target Shoplifting Case

A Pittsford woman is facing charges after Ontario County deputies say she stole merchandise from the Target store in Victor.

Deputies say 69-year-old Suzanne Ashmore was taken into custody on December 8 following a shoplifting complaint. According to investigators, Ashmore is accused of passing all points of sale without paying for items totaling $25.59.

She was released and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
