Phelps Man Arrested on Probation Violation Warrant

A Phelps man was arrested on Saturday on a violation of probation warrant.

Deputies located Axel Gauthier at his home on Church Street in Phelps and was taken into custody.

Gauthier was transported to the Ontario County Jail where he was held for CAP arraignment.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
