Seneca Falls Police arrested a Phelps man after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The warrant for Jason Osgood stems from a shoplifting complaint in December of 2024. It is alleged Jason Osgood proceeded to pass all points of sale without rendering payment for the merchandise in his possession at the Seneca Falls Walmart. During the investigation, it was determined that Osgood had previously been banned from Walmart.
The 53-year-old was charged with petit larceny and felony burglary.
Osgood was processed and taken to the Seneca County Jail for arraignment. He is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
