A Phelps man was charged with DWI after the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office responded to a check the welfare call at a Bryne Dairy store in Phelps.
Based on their investigation, deputies determined Jeffrey Galloway had driven to the Bryne Dairy and suffered facial injuries after falling onto the pavement from a standing position. Galloway was taken to Clifton Springs Hospital by Finger Lakes Ambulance and was later arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Galloway was released on an appearance ticket for Phelps Town Court.
