A Yates County woman was hospitalized after she was entrapped in her car following an accident in Hopewell.
Joan Bicksler, of Bellona, was attempting to turn left onto State Routes 5 and 20 from Kearney Road and failed to yield to a westbound car being driven by Mark Stash, of Canandaigua. Hopewell firefighters extricated Bicksler from her car and she was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for her injuries.
