Penn Yan Woman Ticketed After Dog Reportedly Acts Aggressively on Neighbor’s Property

SHARE NOW

A Penn Yan woman has been ticketed after her dog allegedly entered a neighbor’s property and acted aggressively.

Police say 49-year-old Rebecca Hansen was issued an appearance ticket after officers responded to a complaint. The dog was reportedly loose and behaving aggressively on another person’s property.

Hansen was cited for violating the village’s Dog at Large ordinance and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
