A Penn Yan woman will appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date following a traffic stop.
Police report they stopped Ann Fullagar on Main Street after they observed her car failed to stop at a stop sign and speeding. During the traffic stop, officers observed Fullagar to display several signs of intoxication. Fullagar was placed through a series of standardized field sobriety tests which she failed.
Fullagar was taken into custody and transported to the Yates County Public Safety Building for a chemical test which revealed her blood alcohol content to be .06%.
Fullagar was charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, speeding, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
