On Monday, Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Crystal Fiero, 43, of Penn Yan, for Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree.
The arrest followed an incident on Hazard Road where Fiero allegedly entered a dwelling in the Town of Torrey. Authorities report she did not have permission to be inside the building, as it had been officially condemned by the Town of Torrey.
Fiero was processed and issued an appearance ticket to answer the charges at a later date. She was also provided with temporary housing assistance following the incident.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
