The investigation into a domestic violence complaint resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old Penn Yan woman.
Rebecca Thompson is accused of damaging a doorway leading into a home in the village. Thompson was charged with criminal mischief and was sent to Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
An Order of Protection was sought on behalf of the victim.
