Police arrested a Penn Yan woman who allegedly struck another person while he was holding a one-year-old child.
23-year-old Taylor Mason is also accused of punching the resident while in the presence of another child.
Mason was arrested on harassment and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child charges. Following arraignment, Taylor was brought to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
