Penn Yan Woman Accused of Driving on Suspended License

A Penn Yan woman will appear in Village Court at a later date following a traffic stop.

According to Penn Yan Police, Heather Mickelsen was found to be driving an unregistered motor vehicle while having a suspended driver’s license. Mickelsen was ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Mickelsen was issued traffic tickets and released to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
