The report of a fight at a Penn Yan apartment complex resulted in the arrest of a Penn Yan woman.
It is alleged that 50-year-old Michelle Downs attacked another person and bit them in the hand, breaking the skin. Downs was charged with harassment.
Downs was released on an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
