A 15-year-old was arrested in the village of Penn Yan on a forcible touching charge.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in the village earlier this month.
The juvenile offender was released on an appearance ticket and will have their case handled by Yates County Probation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
