SHARE NOW

A Penn Yan mother is facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child after police were called to Meadowside Apartments for the report of a young child wandering around outside unsupervised.

As police arrived on the scene, they located the child walking in the roadway of Eagle Lane with only a shirt and diaper on. The child also sustained cuts to their feet and knees from being outside alone.

Police arrested Tabitha Stevens for failing to supervise her child properly and issued her an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
