A Penn Yan man is facing charges in Steuben County following a traffic stop in the village of Bath.
During the roadside investigation, Bath Police searched the vehicle Gordon Clayson was driving and reportedly located a quantity of methamphetamine. Clayson was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and ticketed for driving without a license.
Clayton was released on an appearance ticket for Bath Village Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
