Penn Yan Man Charged With Petit Larceny

A Penn Yan man will appear in village court at a later date to answer a charge of petit larceny following his arrest.

Gary Webster is accused of entering a Penn Yan store, grabbing several items off the shelf, and then going to the service desk with an old receipt and returning items he never paid for.

Webster was released on an appearance ticket

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
