The Penn Yan Police Department reports the arrest of 26-year-old Tyler Hearton, of Penn Yan, on a Harassment charge.
Authorities say Hearton allegedly punched another person, subjecting them to unwanted physical contact.
Hearton was issued a summons and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
