The investigation into a larceny complaint at a Penn Yan store resulted in the arrest of a Penn Yan man.
Tyler Spoor is alleged to have entered into a village establishment and stole an item from the store on November 5th. Police made contact with the 33-year-old who turned himself in on November 9th.
Spoor was charged with petit larceny and was released on an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
